The stronger lofts will help your distance, you will grow into them and when you’re shooting in the mid 80s you’ll be ready for the next set. I am currently selling my old irons and looking to get a new set. My club is having a sort of “demo day” on Thursday. I went with the Burner. I am using TM Burner. It generates greater, more consistent distance and perfects accuracy for more greens in regulation. Which driver would suit a beginner better if I may ask?

The tour also offers a full-length hosel, while the regular driver is the traditional Callaway short hosel. Btw you are talking about the Octane not the Octane Tour?

All the JDM forged irons just make me drool a bit. The headcover is really nice in black and has a handle like slot on the top making it easy to remove. The Legacy Forged is in fact smaller than the Burner Forged but has a slightly thicker top line than the Burner Forged. Both are very good irons. If the purpose is to have the feel of a forged iron, I don’t see how it’s even a close call. Hated the stock shafts in both too, btw.

Its lower, deeper center of gravity CG makes the sweet spot more accessible and is in line with where the ball most commonly hit by cwllaway on the clubface, generating longer, consistent distance and improving accuracy.
